The campus of the University of Wisconsin – Madison is once again full of young men and women who have arrived in the city to start the new school year. As students are moving in, my mind is taking me back to the years I spent at this university. Move-in days are bringing back memories….

LIVING IN THE BEST CITY
The city of Madison, in the beautiful state of Wisconsin, is known as the best place to live in America, according to Livability.com. I decided to make Madison my home, many years ago, and I think it is one of the best decisions I made in my life. When I came to the United States,…
PRESERVE HISTORY BY PROTECTING STATUES AND MONUMENTS
I was disappointed to learn that protesters in Chicago were trying to topple the statue of Christopher Columbus, yesterday. Statues and monuments are an important part of America. While I understand the desire of local elected officials to create a healthier environment by reducing emissions, I believe that the passage of such ordinance will not bring about any significant benefit and would create unnecessary enforcement burdens on public officials.
