I am not exactly sure what to feel regarding the Ukraine-Russia War right now. We obviously continue to ask the question: Will peace be achieved?
Unfortunately, it seems that the war will go on for much longer.
Up until now, I felt very hopeful that the war between Ukraine and Russia will end sometime soon. The hope still exists.
I recognized that the path to the end of the war would be difficult, but I always maintained hope for peace, and still continue to do so.
Hope is something that I always emphasize. Without hope, there is nothing.
The world runs on hope. Hope provides the fuel that pushes us towards the next day, and the day after.
It is important that we hold on to hope and that we allow optimism to be strongly rooted in our hearts and minds.
However, we must also accept reality. Understanding the facts is essential.
We must be aware of the events taking place around us and out in the wide world, and we must allow the facts to help us reach conclusions about matters of significance.
Upon careful observation of the present reality, and with a strong understanding of the past, I am starting to think that ending the Ukraine-Russia War is going to be much harder than we originally thought.
The world wants the armed conflict between the two countries—Ukraine and Russia—to end. Sadly, it seems that the war is likely to continue to be longer.
The Trump administration has been working tirelessly to help restore peace in the region. President Donald Trump has also met with President Vladimir Putin in person, in Alaska, to try to end the Ukraine-Russia War. However, the excellent efforts by the United States have run into resistance and non-cooperation from the Russian side.
A special team from the United States recently visited Moscow to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and President Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner met with Putin to discuss a path for peace.
People had high hopes that a resolution would be reached. Unfortunately, the meeting did not lead to a peace deal.
The lack of a peace deal does not mean that hope for peace has vanished. However, the world is becoming increasingly impatient as the war goes on.
But there is something that is causing alarm. It is Putin’s recent visit to India.
While many countries around the world are pushing Russia to end their armed campaign against Ukraine and to embrace peace, India seems to be strengthening its ties with Putin’s Russia.
Reportedly, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed on economic cooperation. The two leaders have decided to strengthen their investment ties and focus on cooperation in shipbuilding, energy, minerals, and more.
Such a partnership would strengthen Russia financially to enable it to prolong its war against Ukraine.
Therefore, I believe that there is an urgent need for strong action to counter Russian efforts and plans to continue to fund the war.
I believe that the western countries must increase their pressure on Russia. The countries that wish to establish peace must use all available tools to compel Russia to end this bloody conflict.
