OPERATION MIDWAY BLITZ SENDS A STRONG MESSAGE

I applaud the Trump administration’s decision to launch Operation Midway Blitz in Illinois to arrest and remove criminal illegal aliens. This Homeland Security operation will send a strong message to illegal aliens that no “sanctuary jurisdiction” can protect them from arrest and deportation.

After weeks of anticipation about immigration enforcement action, Operation Midway Blitz was launched this week to target criminal aliens who chose Illinois as their destination, because of the state’s “sanctuary” designation. Federal agents will be working hard in Chicago, and also across Illinois, to catch illegal aliens who are dangerous gang members, drug traffickers, sex offenders, etc.

For years, the people of Chicago suffered because of criminal aliens. The political leadership in the city has failed to protect the community. In fact, the Democrat political leadership in this blue state has chosen not to prioritize the needs of the American citizens and legal immigrants. Instead, these Democrat politicians are focused on serving the illegal aliens. Which is why the left-wing elected officials running the city of Chicago and the state of Illinois have chosen to spend hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars to provide housing, food, and other services to the illegal immigrants during the four years of the Biden-Harris administration. That enticed more illegal immigrants to choose Chicago as their preferred destination.

But now, there is an “America First” administration in power. The Trump administration promised that they would carry out mass deportation. The administration is doing everything in their power to fulfill the promises made to the American people. Launching Operation Midway Blitz is part of the administration’s efforts to ensure that the worst of the worst criminal aliens are arrested.

But Operation Midway Blitz is more than just an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operation. It is a sign that more operations may be launched in other “sanctuary” cities and states to combat illegal immigration and to ensure the swift deportation of the criminals who have caused havoc in our country. Operation Midway Blitz sends a message that the Trump administration will do everything in their power to make America safe again.
