Halloween is almost here. And there is nothing scarier than the current state of the American economy, also known as the “Biden economy.”
Since President Joe Biden took office, the economy has been on a downward spiral. Just this month, it was reported that inflation jumped by 8.2 percent in September, compared to a year earlier. As a result of the sharp rise in prices in the economy, Americans are facing severe financial difficulties. Reportedly, inflation could cost an American family 11,500 dollars this year. This, obviously, is extremely scary. Perhaps what is scarier is the fact that President Joe Biden, rather than accepting his administration’s failure in managing the economy, commented that such inflation data shows “some progress.”
Food is a basic necessity in life. Sadly, across the country, Americans are suffering because of rising food prices. Reportedly, food prices have risen 11.2 percent from one year ago.
Widespread shortages and supply chain problems have hurt Americans since the start of the Biden administration. Last year, Thanksgiving was very expensive because of rising food prices. This year, once again, American families are experiencing soaring food prices as we get closer to Thanksgiving.
Rising food prices and the increasing energy costs are both very scary. Since President Biden took office, gas prices have risen sharply. The reason for this is the Biden administration’s opposition to fossil fuels.
Fossil fuels are essential in providing the energy that we need for our homes, offices, factories, vehicles, devices, etc. In fact, fossil fuels are the largest sources of energy for electricity generation.
Rather than taking effective steps to boost domestic energy production, President Joe Biden called the soaring gas prices to be an “incredible transition” away from fossil fuels. His words clearly indicate that the American people cannot trust the Biden administration to adopt measures that would alleviate the financial pain caused by high gas prices. Unfortunately, this year, the national average price of gas reached five dollars per gallon.
As American consumers suffer due to rising energy costs, a question that must be asked is: When will gasoline prices go down? Unfortunately, we do not know the answer, and that uncertainty is quite scary.
In the Biden economy, the cost of heating homes is also going up. Unfortunately, this winter, many Americans may struggle to stay warm due to inflation and the surge in energy costs.
For any sovereign nation to have a stable, functioning economy, it must have strong, secure border. Since President Joe Biden came to power, millions of foreign nationals have entered the United States illegally through the southern border.
According to new data, the United States Customs and Border Protection encountered close to 2.4 million undocumented migrants at the southern border in fiscal year 2022. Also, during the fiscal year, 856 migrants died trying to cross the border into the United States. The Biden administration’s policies have resulted in both national security crisis and humanitarian crisis at America’s southern border.
Not only does the flood of undocumented immigrants put our national security at risk, but it also disrupts our country’s labor force and hurts the economy.
Halloween is almost here, with October coming to an end. This Halloween, for hard-working American people, there is nothing scarier than the Biden economy.
