Americans expect gasoline to be affordable. Unfortunately, we have experienced high gas prices for months. Back in October, I asked the question: “When will gasoline prices go down?” Sadly, it has been reported that prices may rise further to reach a national average of four dollars per gallon.
High gas prices are causing hardship for Americans. Transportation has become very expensive as a result of increase in gas prices. It has been projected that average price of gasoline will rise in the new year and may reach a peak of four dollars and thirteen cents around June. This means that Americans may spend several more months experiencing financial pain when purchasing gasoline for their vehicles.
The Biden administration has pushed for policies that have created roadblocks in the path to affordable energy, which I have written about in a blog post. For hard-working Americans, there appears to be no relief from high gas prices over the next several months.
