The Ukrainian Economy Minister said that she signed the “Agreement on the Establishment of a United States-Ukraine Reconstruction Investment Fund.”
The U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said that the “agreement signals clearly to Russia that the Trump Administration is committed to a peace process centered on a free, sovereign, and prosperous Ukraine over the long term.”
The United States will greatly benefit from this deal. The rare minerals will be of great strategic importance to the United States. Reportedly, the minerals will be of use in the defense, energy, health care, and other sectors.
The U.S.-Ukraine minerals deal is one of many victories of the Trump administration. Hopefully, there will be many more victories in the future.
