Banning gas-powered engines and vehicles is an act of government overreach and must not be allowed. Wisconsin State Legislature must outlaw any state and local government ban on gas-powered engines. I want to applaud the Wisconsin State Assembly for passing bills that would outlaw local gas engine bans.
In California, politicians approved a measure to ban the sale of new gas-powered vehicles by 2035. Such a ban violates consumer choice.
The government must not dictate what kind of vehicles Americans should drive. Freedom-loving Americans are free to exercise their choice. Republicans in the Wisconsin State Assembly have clearly shown that they want to protect consumer choice.
For a bill to become law, there is a lengthy process that includes a final approval from the governor. Sadly, it is said that the state’s Democratic governor may veto such legislation.
Wisconsin is not California. Our state must never allow any government agency to ban the sale of new gas-powered vehicles. To protect consumer choice and individual freedom, elected officials must take action. Thank you to the Republicans in the Wisconsin State Assembly for the efforts to try to outlaw bans on gas engines in our state.
