CHECK OUT MY INTERVIEW ON FOX & FRIENDS
I had the pleasure of being a guest on Fox & Friends to share my views on immigration issues, in response to a Democrat bill that gives immigrants instant access to federal benefits.

PROUD TO BE RECOGNIZED BY THE ROBERT M. LA FOLLETTE SCHOOL OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS, UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN – MADISON
To celebrate the La Follette School’s 40th anniversary, the institution is highlighting alumni “who influence policymaking at the highest levels in government, nonprofit, and private-sector organizations across the country and abroad.”
I was proud to be recognized by the La Follette School for my public service.

Hello!

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the intersection of politics, public policy, and literature!

It is my mission to make the world a better place through my words and speech. Therefore, whenever I get time out of my busy professional life (make sure you check out my LinkedIn profile), I engage myself in various writing and speaking projects.

I write about social and political issues – both domestic and international. On my blog, I regularly post my comments, opinions, and analyses on a wide range of policy matters – health care, energy, transportation, finance and economy, public safety, immigration, etc.

Also, I want to highlight that since 2019, more than 100 of my writings have appeared in local and national publications in the United States! Make sure you check out my writings in the “Published Opinions” section of my website.

But to understand politics and human behavior, one must also be knowledgeable about literature. My love for American, English, Bengali, and other international literature in translation has no limits! I truly enjoy reading novels, short stories, and poems. In fact, I have self-published two books of poems and have many unpublished writings in my repository.

I also have a passion for speaking! I have spoken in front of many audiences in my life – from small groups of less than a dozen individuals to large gatherings of hundreds of people. In addition to speaking about state and national policy issues that affect our lives, I also enjoy talking about my immigrant experience (I was born and raised in Bangladesh and now am a proud American citizen) and sharing the lessons I learnt from my journey!

Whether I am on a stage and standing in front of a podium or am at a rally in a park with a megaphone in my hand, I am always ready to talk and share what’s on my mind. To project my voice to a bigger audience across the globe, I also started my own podcast – Explore and Engage with Anam – that I hope you would check out!

If you want to learn more about me, please read my biography. You can also watch my videos on my YouTube channel.

My only request for you is this: if you liked something that I wrote, enjoyed watching a video of my speech, or found it pleasing to listen to one of my podcast episodes, please reach out to me and let me know! Words of appreciation are the greatest reward!

Conversely, if you disagree with a viewpoint or want to share constructive criticism, please feel free to do that as well. I am always in the pursuit of knowledge, and having productive dialogue is an important part of learning more about the world we live in.

If you wish to get in touch with me, you can use the contact form on my website or send me an email at tawsif@tawsifanam.net.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Sincerely,

Tawsif

A HISTORIC VISIT BY PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP!

For the first time since 1996, a Republican presidential candidate has visited Dane County for a campaign event. There was a lot of excitement about Donald Trump’s visit to Dane County, Wisconsin.

The event was held at Dane Manufacturing in Waunakee. I had the honor to lead the Pledge of Allegiance.

My grandfather, who was a member of the Dacca District Council in East Pakistan, was in the reception committee to greet Queen Elizabeth II, upon her arrival. Next to the Queen, in the picture, is Azam Khan, who was the Governor of East Pakistan at the time.

On one side of my maternal grandfather was Barrister Nurul Huda, and on the other side was Mongshoi Pru, Minister of Minority Affairs.
